We are open 7 days a week from 9 AM to 11 PM – Yes, this is all year!  We have reduced hours on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.  Check out our locations page for details.

No, we do not take reservations. Come on in and we will get you going. During busy times there can be a short wait to tee off on hole one.

Yes, parking is free.

For all golfers’ enjoyment, the following rules are important to observe!

  2. TEE OFF – All players in group hit their 1st shot, then proceed together to their 2nd shot.
  3. STROKE LIMIT PER HOLE – Six strokes per player.

When all groups follow these rules, it is more fun for everyone!!

For your child’s safety, strollers are prohibited on golfing holes.  There are approximately 100 steps (up and down) and many uneven and narrow areas where strollers do not fit.  Strollers are permitted in clubhouse areas, decks and tiki huts.

Trained service dogs are allowed on courses.  Emotional support animals and all other pets are prohibited on courses.

Golf adopted the group size of four golfers long ago. This is so that play remains fun for all golfers.  We have many large families that play Smugglers Cove courses. Using an example of 8 family members: this family will play as two teams of 4. Both teams will play side-by-side throughout their golf rounds.  

Yes, we do!  Smugglers Cove has an American Alligator habitat at each of its courses.  The alligators can be fed by golfers for a small fee.  

Sorry, but no. We do not offer this for groups that are not golfing as the habitats are within the golf courses.

All of our clubhouse areas are accessible and most of our golf courses are as well. The courses were built prior to current rules, yet where readily achievable and technically feasible, Smugglers has handicap accessible holes. Please contact the course that you will be visiting for details at

Yes, we are open rain or shine. Obviously, golfers cannot play during thunder/lightning events.

Get off the course if there is lightning.  Smugglers Cove staff will do their best to alert you but it is the golfers responsibility to get to safety. We will give you a raincheck to finish at another time if you get caught in bad weather and cannot finish your round.

Smugglers sells water, soda, and many other Coke products in our clubhouses. We also sell beer, wine, and hard seltzers. Only Smugglers Cove alcoholic beverages are allowed on courses as it is illegal to bring your own alcohol.

We sell ice cream products as well.

Yes!  Be our guest. We offer putters to all paying golfers, but some players prefer their own “lucky putter."

No, its a violation of Florida Law to bring your own alcohol to Smugglers Cove as we have a beer and wine license.

No, as we sell beverages and some food items*.

* People with special dietary considerations may bring their own items for consumption as long as they are in compliance with Florida Law.

No, the tables and benches at Smugglers Cove are for our golfer's convenience. Parties and Groups must reserve tables in advance.
